System Overview
This page provides a read-only overview of the target system.
System Settings
- Hostname name given to identify the system.
- DNS Name fully qualified domain name (FQDN) for the target.
- Vendor, Model, Serial Number identifies the target system instance.
- Status displays whether the target system is running, rebooting, or disconnected.
- System Start Time date and time the target system was started.
- Comments displays any comments added to the target system.
SystemLink Settings
- Minion ID SystemLink client identifier.
- Server URL of the SystemLink server.
- Status connection status between the SystemLink server and this client.
Network Adapters
Lists details about each network adapter available on the system. Each adapter will display different information given the adapter mode.
- Adapter Mode configured mode of the adapter. The primary device can be used only for TCP/IP (DHCP or Link Local or Static) or be disabled. For devices other than the primary device, Adapter Mode specifies how the device is used including application-specific modes, such as Time-Triggered or EtherCAT, depending on the adapter modes your device supports.
- IP Address the IP address of the target system. If this is the first time that you have started the controller, the setting could show a network address, a link-local address (169.254.x.x), or 0.0.0.0, depending on how your target acquires network addresses. Relevant if the adapter is enabled for TCP/IP.
- EtherCAT Master ID the assigned Master ID of the target. Relevant if the adapter is enabled for EtherCAT.
- MAC Address media access control (MAC) address, a unique identifier for the network adapter.
- IP Address Configuration configuration the adapter uses to aquire an IP Address.
- Subnet Mask the subnet mask for the device. If the selected device is the primary device, the subnet mask is the primary subnet mask of the target. Relevant if the adapter is enabled for TCP/IP.
